As the call goes out for tariffs I am reminded once again of my start in the American work force in the 1950’s. as an 18 yr. old steelworker we were asking our public servants for tariffs on Japan who at that time was dumping steel on to the U.S. market and undercutting American production. Kennedy was President and the democrats still billed themselves as the party of the working man. Japan was using new steel mills built after WW II by we the people after we the people blew the hell out of Japan’s productivity during that war only to be forced to fund the rebuilding after this war. We also did the same to Europe which brings to mind the question, can we afford to defend ourselves from a nation that attacks us and spend billions to destroy the attacker only to be forced to pay billions more to rebuild them? WWII was the last war in which congress declared war as per the constitution. Truman took us into Korea and Bush took us into Iraq, the CIA took us into Vietnam, Afghanistan, Mexico, Latin America and any place that could grow Opium. What a nation of fools. More on the CIA in a later missive. Back to tariffs, Japan imposes a 700% tariff on all rice imported from The U. S. to Japan, Trump raised the tariff on Japan from 24% to 25%. Much of the cacophony from the progs, progressive socialists, is because the party press sings with one voice, The Party Press:

So, when the corporate party press posts a memo that J.D. Vance is “weird” every loyal party propagandist is spouting it world wide.
Facebook is controlled by Mark Zuckerberg, a progressive socialist who spent over $400,000,000 to influence to outcome of the 2020 election in Georgia. See “Rigged” by Mollie Hemingway. “Twitter” was controlled by Jack Dorcy a multi-millionaire and was sold to Elon Musk, one of the richest people in the world and changed the name to “X”. Jeff Bezos, another of the richest people on earth bought the Washington Post to influence opinion. NewsMax is considered independent but is going public and Americas’ oligarchs will buy a controlling interest, so we are still faced with limited choices. Congress has done a lousy job of protecting we the people from powerful privileged corporations. TikTok is controlled by the Chinese Communists as is so many of our popular entertainers. And Hollywood movie corporations. Fox News is considered conservative but, the owners, Murdochs are Progs, or Progressive Socialists. The education industry is over 90% socialist. Socialism has been very good for the professors. The also teach, our teachers, that’s why socialism/communism has permeated our educational system. progs believe they have indoctrinated enough American minds that it is time to overthrow our Constitutional Republic. You can be a good socialist or you can be a good American but you can’t be a good American Socialist, the two political systems are 180 degrees apart. Never mind what your progressive socialist professor tells you, our founders devised a system where by each and every American citizen is a sovereign and the government is established to serve all equally. This is a concept socialists cannot, will not grasp. Socialists believe that some unknown person with unknown agilities in some unknown location knows more about what is best for you than you do. Socialism is authoritarian rule, all socialisms are the sovereign. Tariffs have been used by our nation since inception and can produce large amounts of revenue when used properly. Tariffs are not the problem; authoritarian rule is the problem. Don’t sell progressive socialists short, they want our sovereignty.
